cookie settings
This page lists every cookie and browser-storage flag that Maple River Bend uses, why we use it, and how long it stays around. The list is short on purpose. If you would rather not have any of these stored, decline the cookie banner and the optional ones will not be written.
Strictly necessary storage
Two small flags are written into your browser local storage under the keys rgt_a18_v1 and rgt_ck_v1. The first remembers that you confirmed you are 18 or over, so we do not ask again on every page load. The second remembers your response to the cookie banner itself. Neither flag is shared with any third party, neither leaves your device, and both can be cleared at any moment from your browser settings.
Functional storage
At this time we use no additional functional cookies. If we ever add user-facing preferences such as audio volume or language, those settings would be stored locally in the same way and we would update this page to describe them.
Analytics, advertising and tracking
We run none of these on mapleriverbend.com. No Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no TikTok pixel, no Hotjar, no Microsoft Clarity, no Yandex Metrica, no third-party tag managers. The site does not embed advertising scripts of any kind.
Third-party embeds
The only externally hosted resource we load is the Google Fonts stylesheet, which is requested over a content delivery network. Google may log your IP address as part of fulfilling that request. If that is a concern, a browser extension that blocks external font loading is the simplest mitigation.
How to clear what we store
Open your browser developer tools, go to the Application or Storage tab, find mapleriverbend.com in the local storage list, and delete the entries. You can also clear all site data through your browser standard privacy controls.
Updates
This page will be revised whenever the storage list itself changes.
